March 14, 2013 - Joel Jens Racing Readies for the Start of the Season.
Well it has been almost 3 months since I've been in the seat of a kart, so I'm getting a bit anxious to race again. Daytona Kartweek was the start
of my 2013 season and it has been some time since the completion of that race, needless to say I cannot wait to get to the next event in Kershaw South
Carolina at the Carolina Motorsports Park. Who knows, I might even be faster than a redneck there.
Since the last race I have been very
busy with school and also preparing my karts for the next race. This is something I like to do and it's fun for me. I have all new karts heading
into this next race and also have a kart ready to take to Arizona the day after the WKA event in Kershaw. The SKUSA Spring Nationals are in Tucson
Arizona this year, so my mom and crew need to get the equipment all the way out there in a hurry while I come home and go to school for a week.
Having such a successful year last year in SKUSA, I look forward to great results again on my Verde Speed Resources TonyKart with Woltjer Leopard
power.
I will give some results updates here in a few weeks between races. Stay tuned as I'm gunning for the wins.
