September 12, 2012 - Joel Jens to compete Internationally in the IAME Challenge in Lyon, France
Joel Jens will participate in the International Final of the IAME challenge in Lyon, France in October. Under invitation of long time IAME engine
importer, Jim Russell Jr., Joel will contest the IAME X30 senior division. Jens and his team from stateside will travel abroad to contest against some
of the best the world has to offer in international competition. “We are pleased to participate in the "IAME INTERNATIONAL FINAL", the Race of
the races for all worldwide IAME drivers”, said Jens when learning of his invitation. The unique scenario of the city of Lyon (France) and the
International Circuit Actua circuit de Lyon, will host this long awaited and highly demanded race on October 18th thru the 21st. The organizers of the
successful editions of the Bruno Grana International Trophy in 2009, 2010 and 2011, present this race that will decree the absolute winners in the X30
Junior - X30 Senior - X30 Master and X30 Shifter categories. Expecting the best drivers coming from the IAME championships of the five continents, the
show will be guaranteed excitement. With the approval of CIK-FIA and with the participation of famous teams and manufacturers, IAME intends to offer a
new benchmark in Karting competition, providing values of friendly atmosphere, sporting fairness and top level Karting at affordable costs. The IAME

Jens will partner up with a Belgian team for equipment and
personnel to compete in the International competition. Drivers from around the world will compete all with the same power plant, so driver and
mechanical skills will be of the utmost importance Looking to represent the USA along with several other drivers from the North American continent,
this will be Joel’s first international experience. Looking to continue his achievements in the senior ranks, this is a pivotal race for the
Wisconsin driver to draw attention to his abilities overseas. “Racing on such a world stage is extremely exciting and I cannot wait to see how
well I do against some of the best” said Joel. This event falls right in the timeline for him as he will have just completed an endurance race
aboard very similar equipment the weekend prior in the Indianapolis area and it will also be a great conditioning race for the extremely important
